Katabi Town Council is supporting the National Immunization Campaign for Measles and Rubella under the theme, “Protecting the Young Generation for a Healthier Uganda.”
The mass immunization exercise will take place from 1st to 5th October 2026 and targets children aged 9 months to 59 months. Parents and guardians are encouraged to take eligible children for vaccination.
The Measles and Rubella vaccine helps protect children against measles, rubella, serious complications, disability and death. The vaccine is safe, free and important for every eligible child.
Vaccination services and information will be available at LC I offices and through VHT information points. Residents may also contact their area councillor, chairperson or VHT for further information.
